Need help right away?

If you encounter a problem with your Highland irrigation water connection please contact The Management Trust. In the event of an emergency contact Erik Brihagen (206-434-6511), Bill Biery (808-283-7571) or Jim Long (425-457-1837).

Need help operating your Highland Irrigation connection?

  • BEFORE April 15th, the day that Highland Irrigation hopes to begin supplying irrigation water in their system, locate your valve connected to Highland Irrigation. Clean around it, if necessary, so it is easily accessible.
  • Open and close the valve gently to ensure that it works. NOTE: Take care not to over-tighten the valve in either the open or closed position.
  • After exercising the valve, leave it open only slightly to allow air to escape the system as the water begins to fill the main Highland Irrigation line. Once the air stops and it is just water coming through from the Highland Irrigation main line, you then should be able to operate your irrigation system as usual.
  • Recall from year's past that it may take some time for the Highland Irrigation system to become fully functional. It has taken as long as several weeks to work out the bugs in the water supply system. Remember, the many irrigation companies, Highland among them, got started in the early 1900s.Only a few things have changed since then!
  • Once the Highland system is fully pressurized and functional, remember to open and close valves slowly. Doing so will prevent unnecessary pressure on your irrigation system; With pressure in the Highland Irrigation system, you may find that your main valve is harder to open and close. Again, be gentle in applying force to either open or close your main valve AND go slowly in either direction AND don't over tighten the valve in either the open or closed position.
